The Master's Academy of Marietta

The Master's Academy of Fine Arts at Marietta is a full fine arts school designed specifically for homeschooled children ages 4-18. Meeting just one day per week, children are exposed to the arts from an historical perspective.  Each year the arts are taught from a specific time period beginning with Ancient Civilizations, then moving on to the Medieval/ Renaissance, Baroque, Classical, Romantic and Modern periods through a six year cycle. Each year is self-contained so a student need not be involved for the full six years, nor do they need to begin at the Ancient Civilizations period to gain a benefit from the program.

Master's Academy Summer Camp 2009. 

 A fun-filled "Creative Arts Camp" where campers (ages 5-11) will enjoy an exciting hands-on environment discovering the creative gifts that God has given them.  Two totally diverse weeklong sessions are offered and may be taken together or independently. Master's Academy of Fine Arts Summer Camp is a creative explosion of activities and learning in Art, Drama, Music and Movement!

Session 1: July 13-17                                            

Session 2:  July 20-24

*Each day is from 9:00am-3:00pm (after camp care available)

The Master's Academy of Fine arts is a homeschool fine arts school where students taught from a historical perspective. The Master's Academy focuses on teaching music, art, drama, and history through six distinct historical periods. These include: ancient, medeival-renaissance, baroque, classical, and romantic. The children are exposed to choir, plays, drawing, painting, music theory, dance, and art history. We are committed to providing a homeschool art program that encourages children to Glorify God through excellence in the arts. Many of our homeschool art students have received large scholarships to universities based soley on their portfolio work completed at Master's Academy of Fine Arts. We understand the importance that the arts play in our culutre, and desire for every homeschool art student to learn about the arts through a God centered historical perspective. Our well rounded homeschool art program centers on Christ, by teaching our students not just the techniques, but also a historical worldview that shows them the importance of using their art to glorify God.
